Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Palm Beach is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on gaming regulatory experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in representing clients in the gaming industry, particularly in the tribal gaming space. They should be adept in drafting and arguing discovery motions, as well as taking and defending depositions. Strong oral and written advocacy skills are essential, along with exceptional academic credentials. The candidate must be capable of efficient case management and be prepared to take the lead on cases. Admission to practice in a state is required.

Duties:

• Drafting and arguing discovery motions
• Taking and defending depositions
• Conducting legal research related to gaming regulations and litigation strategies
• Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Assisting in trial preparation and strategy
• Managing case files and deadlines effectively
• Providing legal analysis and advice to clients regarding gaming regulatory matters
• Collaborating with partners and senior associates on complex litigation matters

Requirements:

• Admission to practice in a state
• 3+ years of experience representing clients in the gaming industry
• Experience in a mid-size to large law firm setting
• Strong understanding of gaming regulations and industry practices
• Exceptional oral and written advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Any relevant certifications in gaming law or litigation would be a plus
