Health Care Partner

Job Overview:
A Dallas-based law firm is actively expanding its leadership team and is seeking a Health Care Partner to enhance its growing practice. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced attorney with a demonstrated history in healthcare law and an established client base. The role offers the chance to shape strategy, mentor junior team members, and serve as a key player in complex regulatory and transactional healthcare matters.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage client engagements focused on health care regulatory compliance, transactions, and risk mitigation

  • Advise health care providers, physician groups, hospitals, and related entities on operational and legal issues

  • Collaborate with cross-practice teams on joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate healthcare transactions

  • Interpret and guide federal and state healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and False Claims Act

  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings and investigations involving healthcare regulatory agencies

  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives through writing, speaking, or publishing on healthcare legal developments

  • Foster business development through strategic relationship building and client service delivery

Requirements:

  • Extensive background in health law, including regulatory counseling, transactions, and compliance

  • Proven ability to work independently while integrating within a broader practice group

  • Strong client management skills and experience maintaining or growing a portable book of business

  • Deep knowledge of U.S. healthcare regulations and evolving legal landscapes affecting providers and payers

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in good standing, preferably in Texas, or eligibility for admission

Skills:

  • Strategic legal thinking andthe  ability to assess regulatory risk

  • Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with client development capabilities

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities to engage with clients, peers, and team members

Job Location:

  • Dallas, TX
