Associate Attorney needed for Arlington Heights office

A law firm is seeking an associate attorney to join its team in Arlington Heights, IL, primarily focusing on personal injury cases and some involvement in workers' compensation matters. The ideal candidate will commit to legal excellence, client advocacy, and teamwork.

Job Overview:

• Assist in all aspects of personal injury and workers' compensation cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury and workers' compensation cases.
• Conducted client intake interviews and assessed legal matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Illinois State Bar in good standing.
