Job Overview

A respected law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of civil litigation experience to join its Tampa, Florida office. This full-time, in-office position focuses on community association litigation and provides the opportunity to manage cases with a balance of autonomy and team support. Ideal candidates will possess strong writing skills, excellent communication abilities, and a desire to grow within a collaborative national platform.

Duties

  • Draft, review, and interpret contracts, corporate documents, and community association governing documents

  • Handle association collections, enforcement actions, and general civil litigation matters independently

  • Provide legal counsel to Community Association Boards and property managers

  • Respond to client inquiries and provide timely legal guidance

  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and case strategies

  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and other legal proceedings

  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding litigation updates and legal matters

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of civil litigation experience

  • Experience with community association law preferred

  • Ability to manage caseload independently with some supervision

  • Strong client service mindset and organizational skills

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Florida (required)

  • Excellent legal writing and research capabilities

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Contract interpretation and document analysis

  • Familiarity with community association governance and litigation issues
