A law firm is seeking an Innovation Attorney - E & I and Finance for its San Francisco office. The candidate will support the Firm’s innovation efforts to enhance the delivery of legal services focusing on E&I and Finance business units. They will work closely with the Global Head of Practice Innovation and collaborate with E&I and Finance unit members and leadership.

 

Duties:

  • Develop and enhance practice content to streamline legal service delivery.
  • Lead projects to improve client-facing solutions, including client/deal intake and data sharing.
  • Streamline and improve legal service delivery through projects and digitalization efforts.
  • Oversee technology adoption and provide support for legal tech implementation.
  • Support training curriculum development and knowledge sharing initiatives.
  • Integrate AI, including generative AI, into legal practice workflows.
  • Evaluate legal service efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Educate legal professionals on practice content, technology, and initiatives.
  • Communicate and consult with administrators, lawyers, and staff on various initiatives.
  • Develop case studies and maintain resources for marketing and business development.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university or college.
  • Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
  • 4+ years of experience as an E&I attorney in a large law firm.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with workflow, document, and communication technology.
  • Understanding of knowledge management and project management best practices.
  • Enthusiasm and familiarity with legal technology, including AI.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

 

Education:

Juris doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited university or college.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice in good standing in a US jurisdiction.
