A law firm in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney with the following qualifications and responsibilities:

Job Overview:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, providing legal advice and guidance.
• Handle all aspects of case management from initial client intake to trial.

Duties:

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in cases.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Lead mediations and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Develop case strategies and prepare for trial.
• Take cases to trial when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Indiana State Bar.
• Experience drafting and responding to motions.
• Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Indiana State Bar.
