Senior Attorney needed for Baltimore office

A law firm in Baltimore, MD, is currently seeking a Senior Attorney to join their team. The Senior Attorney will be responsible for conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and representing clients in court. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interactions with clients, lawyers, and business professionals. The role also requires producing high-quality deliverables, promptly responding to correspondence, and consistently meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in civil litigation, along with strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

Duties:

• Conduct and defend depositions
• Manage case dockets efficiently
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and business professionals
• Produce high-quality deliverables in a timely manner
• Answer phone calls and reply to correspondence promptly
• Meet deadlines and perform assigned duties diligently
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required
• Perform any other duties or projects assigned by the firm

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
• Experience handling multi-district litigation is advantageous

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of Maryland
