Trust and Estates/Probate Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Trust and Estates/Probate Associate Attorney for its Los Angeles, CA, location. The Trust and Estates/Probate Associate Attorney will primarily work behind the scenes, drafting documents, petitions, and pleadings. The candidate must have experience in drafting and responding to civil discovery and/or probate/trust law. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Windows, and Westlaw is required, along with excellent writing and research skills.

Duties:

• Draft documents, petitions, and pleadings related to trust and estate matters.
• Respond to civil discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research on probate and trust law issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Assist senior attorneys in case management and preparation.
• Attend court hearings and proceedings as needed.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as an attorney.
• Experience in drafting and responding to civil discovery and/or probate/trust law.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Windows, and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing and research skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California.
