Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its practice in Austin, TX. This role offers a hybrid working pattern, allowing for both in-office and remote work. The firm is looking for a motivated attorney with a strong background in insurance coverage and litigation.

Duties

  • Analyze and draft coverage opinions and pleadings.
  • Conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation.
  • Draft dispositive motions and other legal documents.
  • Participate in depositions and court conferences.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and mentors.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of relevant coverage experience.
  • Strong litigation background, including bad faith experience.
  • Admitted and in good standing in the state of Texas.
  • Additional state admissions are a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

  • Excellent analytical and drafting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
