Job Title: Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-5 years of plaintiffs and defense side litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at drafting motions, handling fact and expert discovery, engaging in deposition and trial preparation, conducting depositions, cross-examinations, and other oral advocacy. They should be prepared to assume significant responsibility in managing matters and take on a front-facing role with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts. Judicial Clerkship experience is preferred, as is working fluency in Spanish. California Bar membership, excellent academic credentials, and strong writing and analytical skills are required.

Duties:

• Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Handle fact and expert discovery.
• Engage in deposition and trial preparation.
• Conduct depositions, cross-examinations, and other oral advocacy.
• Manage matters with significant responsibility.
• Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of plaintiffs and defense-side litigation experience.
• Judicial Clerkship experience preferred.
• Working fluency in Spanish is preferred.
• California Bar membership.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
