Commerce office of our client seeks an immigration attorney with 1-5 years of experience. The candidate will represent clients in court. Will provide direct representation to a large caseload of individuals and/or families in immigration matters. Serve in legal representation may be before the Immigration Court (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the Administrative Appeals Office, in custody matters before Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Asylum Office, State, and federal courts, the Department of State, agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and in credible/reasonable fear interviews and applications for affirmative relief before United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Must be knowledgeable in the laws governing immigrant entry and residence and use own knowledge to help individuals transition successfully and lawfully from one country to another. Must be Bilingual - Spanish. Must have Law Degree from an accredited school and pass the Bar exam. Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. with Immigration Law. Good data analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are essential. Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications essential. Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.
