Job Overview: A law firm in Houston, TX, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lateral Attorney to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse background and a unique perspective to contribute to our firm's success. 

Duties:

  • Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as hearings, trials, and depositions.
  • Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on a wide range of legal matters.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and document preparation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.
  • Stay current with changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional legal services.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Texas State Bar, with a clean disciplinary record.
  • Experience practicing law with a focus on the relevant area of law.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.
