Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm focused on creditors' rights is actively seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its Florida-based legal team. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel and representation in residential foreclosure, replevin, and bankruptcy matters. This role offers the opportunity to engage with leading financial institutions while gaining hands-on litigation experience in a collaborative and supportive hybrid work environment.

Location:

  • Boca Raton, FL 

Duties:

  • Provide legal representation to financial institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, and replevin matters

  • Conduct review and analysis of loan documents, financial records, and case correspondence

  • Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, responses, and notices

  • Attend in-person and virtual court hearings

  • Identify and develop legal strategies based on case facts and legal precedent

  • Collaborate with and guide non-attorney staff to ensure procedural compliance

  • Address client inquiries with a high degree of responsiveness and professionalism

  • Support compliance and ethical initiatives within the firm

  • Stay current with applicable laws, regulations, and court procedures

  • Perform additional legal tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Florida

  • 1–3 years of legal experience preferred (all applications considered)

  • Prior experience with creditors’ rights, foreclosure, or bankruptcy is desirable

  • Ability to attend local court hearings and travel as needed

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Florida State Bar

  • Additional licensure or willingness to obtain multi-state licensure preferred

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general tech-savviness

  • Familiarity with legal case management systems

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Client-focused with a high level of emotional intelligence

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
