A law firm seeks a Labor And Employment Attorney for their Riverside, CA office. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and responsibilities:

Job Overview:

  • Serve as a key legal advisor on labor and employment matters.
  • Represent clients in litigation and provide counsel on transactional matters related to labor and employment law.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws and regulations.

Duties:

  • Handle employment litigation matters, including trials, summary judgment, arguing motions, depositions, and mediation.
  • Provide transactional and advisory services in labor and employment law.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on labor and employment issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategies and solutions to labor and employment issues.
  • Maintain client relationships and provide ongoing legal support and counsel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in employment litigation.
  • Extensive experience with trials, summary judgment, arguing motions, depositions, and mediation.
  • Admitted to practice law in California.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills:

  • Litigation experience in labor and employment law.

  • Familiarity with public agency employers (preferred).
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
