Franchise Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Oakland, CA, is seeking a seasoned Franchise Attorney with expertise in drafting legal documents, advising clients on compliance matters, and managing various aspects of franchise law. Job Duties:

• Draft and revise Franchise Disclosure Documents and related contractual agreements
• Respond to comment letters from state regulators
• Advise clients regarding franchise sales compliance, renewals, and terminations
• Analyze and implement exemption-based franchise sales strategies
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including master service agreements, license agreements, and customer contracts

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• California Bar license in good standing
• 5+ years of Franchise Law experience; experience in Real Estate and Corporate transactional work preferred; Litigation, Trademark, and/or Data Privacy experience a significant plus
