A law firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial litigation experience and exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills. This role involves significant responsibilities related to pleadings, motions, and briefing on complex matters, along with proficiency in e-discovery and fact development.

Duties:

  • Handle pleadings, motions, and briefings for complex litigation cases.
  • Develop and manage fact-finding and e-discovery processes.
  • Address complex factual, legal, and logistical issues with strategic foresight.
  • Provide analytical and strategic counsel to clients on legal and economic challenges.
  • Participate in court proceedings and handle case management tasks.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on case strategy and execution.
  • Prepare and present oral arguments and written submissions effectively.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of litigation experience.
  • Experience with regional, national, or outstanding local law firms preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing and oral advocacy.
  • Strong academic background in law.
  • Significant experience with pleadings, motions, and complex briefings.
  • Proficiency in handling e-discovery and fact development.
  • An Arizona license or eligibility to become admitted to the Arizona Bar.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Arizona or eligibility to obtain.

Skills:

  • Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in e-discovery tools and fact development techniques.
  • Ability to manage complex legal issues and provide strategic solutions.
  • Effective case management and organizational skills.
