Associate Attorney needed for Saint Petersburg office

A law firm in Saint Petersburg, FL, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with a strong interest in environmental, governmental, land use, real property rights, or litigation. The ideal candidate should possess a strong sense of professionalism, initiative, and a desire to pursue business development. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills, and the candidate must be a member of the Florida Bar.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to environmental, governmental, land use, real property rights, or litigation matters.
• Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and other legal correspondence.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and hearings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute legal strategies.
• Maintain and organize legal files and documents.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
• Stay current with changes in legislation and legal developments in relevant practice areas.
• Participate in business development initiatives, including networking and client outreach.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to and active membership in the Florida Bar.
• Strong interest in environmental, governmental, land use, real property rights, or litigation practice areas.
