Job Overview:

The Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling a variety of litigation matters, with a focus on construction and real estate cases. This role requires the ability to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously, with keen attention to detail.

 

Duties:

  • Handle a variety of litigation matters, with a focus on construction and real estate cases
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and other proceedings
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Manage and prioritize workload effectively
  • Collaborate with partners and other team members on case strategy and development
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and support staff as needed

 

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of litigation experience
  • Admission to the Florida Bar
  • Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
  • Ability to successfully work on multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Experience in construction and real estate law is a plus

 

Education:

Juris doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar
