This firm specializes in advocating for policyholders in first-party property insurance claims and is dedicated to providing high-level legal services to clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and resolving cases independently, a deep understanding of litigation strategies, and a commitment to excellence in case management.

Duties:

• Independently manage a caseload of first-party property insurance claims from initiation to resolution or trial
• Develop case strategies and provide effective legal counsel to clients
• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Conduct depositions, discovery, and legal research
• Prepare for and represent clients in hearings, mediations, and trials
• Maintain efficient case management, ensuring timely and accurate progress in all matters
• Collaborate with a remote team of legal professionals and support staff to ensure effective workflow
• Provide exceptional client service and communicate legal developments clearly to clients

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in plaintiff's first-party property litigation
• Licensed to practice law in Florida
• Proven ability to manage cases independently and drive cases toward successful resolution
• Strong litigation and trial preparation skills
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida (Florida Bar)

Skills:

• Litigation strategy and case management
• Trial experience (preferred but not required)
• Strong research and writing skills
• Proficient in handling motions, depositions, and discovery
• Time management and organizational skills
