Carole's practice focuses on workplace investigations and employee training. Carole's broad range of experience makes her uniquely qualified to conduct independent workplace investigations, provide employee training, and offer other neutral employment law expertise. For two decades, Carole litigated employment law cases in state and federal court. Carole also represented clients in administrative cases before the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and the National Labor Relations Board. She has handed matters involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour issues, and more. Carole also prepared employee handbooks and employment policies. Carole has served as an equal employment opportunity monitor, upon approval of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Carole has offered training on the prevention of discrimination, harassment and retaliation for more than 20 years.

Activities

Carole Is an active member of the Association of Workplace Investigators. She serves as a local convener for AWI's San Diego Local Circle. Carole is on the American Arbitration Association's approved panel of workplace investigators. She served as a reporter on discrimination and unfair competition cases for Bender's California Labor & Employment Bulletin. Carole served as an editor for the C.E.B. Action Guide, "Handling a Wrongful Termination Case." Carole also served as Chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the San Diego County Bar Association.
