The candidate will advise individuals, startups, mid-size businesses, and national and international companies on tax audit and compliance issues, tax appeals, and tax planning, including, sales tax, gross receipts taxes, real estate excise tax, property taxes, cigarette and tobacco taxes, credits and deferrals, and matters involving mergers and acquisitions deals to prevent or reduce potential tax assessments.
