Sarasota office of our client seeks labor and employment attorney with 6+ years of experience in the areas of counseling employers and litigating employment law issues in courts and before administrative agencies. The candidate will provide telephonic and in-person advice and counsel conferences with clients. Will serve in internal workplace investigations. Preparation and drafting of: deposition outlines, discovery requests and responses, discovery, pretrial, and injunction motions, EEOC position statements, mediation statements, post hearing arbitration briefs, appellate briefs; employee policies/handbooks; and employment, restrictive covenant, severance, and settlement agreements. Depositions and witness interviews. Oral arguments (state and federal courts). Mediation proceedings (administrative and judicial).
