Job Overview

Multiple leading law firms across the United States — including large Am Law practices, mid-sized regional firms, and boutique construction law groups — are actively seeking Construction Law Attorneys with 1–10+ years of experience.
With construction and development activity remaining strong nationwide, firms are expanding their teams to support both transactional and litigation-heavy construction matters.

If you have experience with construction disputes, contract drafting, project advising, or developer/contractor representation, this is an ideal moment to explore opportunities.

Duties

  • Handle construction litigation including claims, defects, delays, and mechanics’ liens.

  • Draft and negotiate construction contracts, including AIA and EPC agreements.

  • Represent general contractors, subcontractors, developers, and design professionals.

  • Advise clients on risk management, insurance issues, and compliance matters.

  • Assist with public and private construction projects from planning through completion.

  • Participate in mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and court hearings.

  • Support project teams with day-to-day construction and operational issues.

Requirements

  • 1–10+ years of construction law experience (litigation or transactional).

  • Experience with construction contracts, disputes, or project advisory work.

  • Strong writing, negotiation, and client-communication abilities.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Strong drafting and contract-analysis skills.

  • Ability to manage complex, document-heavy disputes.

  • Effective communication with contractors, developers, and project personnel.

  • Confidence handling hearings, arbitrations, or negotiations.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive to project timelines.

Submit or update your resume today, and we will match you with the firms most likely to want your background.
