This firm also practices in foreclosures, trust and estate law, litigation, residential real estate, bankruptcy, and general business law. Vienna office of our client seeks junior real estate attorney with 1-2 years of collections experience. The candidate will be responsible for attending sales and supporting staff in overseeing the Virginia foreclosure and eviction process including attending court hearings when necessary, along with assisting other departments, dependent upon Bar admissions. Will serve in the transactional review of all documents related to the foreclosure process. Attend scheduling conferences, court hearings, and foreclosure sales. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to resolve pending litigation. Draft and/or review motions, other court pleadings, and/or contracts relating to collections and real estate. Attend scheduling conferences, court hearings, and foreclosure sales. Stay abreast of current legal and regulatory developments and determine impact of same on any client entities and services. Participate in committees and task groups and other duties as assigned. Assist senior attorneys with resolving disputed matters by providing legal opinions and memoranda. Membership in the Virginia Bar; with Maryland and/or DC Bar admission are a plus.
