It doesn't matter when you say late in your career; you could be in your sixties. That's not late. People work until their nineties now. So they said that people born now are likely to live to be a hundred or over a hundred or somehow. Where do you go? What interests you?
Again, it's the same question as the person before does. You have to find out what that is; the only way you can do that is by exposing yourself to many different ideas. This means meeting many different people and getting out and doing whatever you can to do that wherever you possibly can.
Whether it's networking, I don't care, or going to the bookstore. You just have to learn about as many ideas as possible, and then, you can use them to transition.
