12. Describe your current practice areas and what makes you stand out as an attorney?
I've practiced solely in education law for over 14 years and was very successful in the field. I represented several public school districts in Texas. I conducted numerous presentations, spoke at state-wide conferences, and obtained favorable decisions for school districts in contested cases before the State Office of Administrative Hearings. I am currently seeking a position to transition to the practice area of estate planning/probate law.

15. Why are you looking for a new position and what is your ideal landing place?
Although I had a successful career representing school districts in the area of special education law for several years, it was a very demanding practice area with an unpredictable schedule and little to no work-life balance. As a result, I've decided to transition to a different area of law, specifically estate planning/probate law. I am 56, with many years of work left in me, and I want to develop just as strong of a career in estate planning/probate law.
