A law firm in Bellville is seeking a skilled and experienced Litigation Family Law Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will proactively manage family law cases from start to finish, providing superior customer service to clients with regular updates and reviews. They should be capable of making improvement recommendations, managing performance metrics, and using practice quality software effectively. Candidates must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited university, passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt, 1st chair family law experience, and be licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois. The ability to quickly learn new technical programs and software is essential.

 

Duties:

  • Proactively manage family law cases from beginning to end, ensuring all necessary legal actions are taken.
  • Provide superior customer service to clients, including monthly status reports and weekly reviews of cases.
  • Make improvement recommendations to practice managers to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Manage performance metrics using practice quality software to track accomplishments and client satisfaction.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and other legal proceedings related to family law matters.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and preparation of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to develop effective case strategies.
  • Stay updated on changes in family law, court rulings, and legal trends.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited university.
  • Passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt.
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, with specific experience in 1st chair family law cases.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical programs and software.
