Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney

Wellesley office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a workers' compensation associate attorney with 2+ years of experience in workers compensation. The candidate will assist in file review and legal analysis of workers compensation claims. Will assist in extensive legal research and drafting of client correspondence, discovery devices, summations, appeals, and appellate briefs. Regularly representing clients at depositions and hearings before the Massachusetts Workers Compensation Board. Trial preparation and attendance. Expert witness retention and evaluation. Must be Admitted to practice in the state of Massachusetts and preferably Connecticut and/or Rhode Island; other states are a plus. Experience in other practice areas is a plus.

The candidate should have exceptional writing, research, and litigation skills. Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills are needed. Solid research abilities and written and oral communication skills are required. Must have a strong work ethic and ability to self-manage and work in a team environment. Should respond promptly to e-mail and phone inquiries. Excellent client skills and telephone manner is required.
