Location:

Duties:

  • Advise clients on medical malpractice and personal injury matters

  • Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, and memorandums

  • Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and depositions

  • Conduct thorough legal research and case law analysis using platforms such as Westlaw

  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients

  • Collaborate with legal team members and support staff on case development and trial preparation

  • Maintain detailed case records while adhering to confidentiality standards

  • Monitor legal developments relevant to personal injury and malpractice law

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in personal injury and medical malpractice litigation

  • Active license to practice law in the State of New York

  • Proven ability to manage cases independently and effectively

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills

  • Comfortable handling a fast-paced, high-volume caseload

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of personal injury and medical malpractice law

  • Proficient in legal research tools, particularly Westlaw
