A law firm in New Orleans is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney with Bar admission. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in construction litigation.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to construction litigation matters.
  • Draft legal documents including complaints, motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and preparation.
  • Manage caseload efficiently and effectively prioritize tasks.

 

Requirements:

  • Bar admission.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction litigation.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Education/Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission.
