A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Mid-level Litigation/White Collar and Investigations Associate Attorney with strong complex business litigation experience and an interest in white collar criminal and investigation matters. The ideal candidate should possess extremely strong writing skills, the ability to manage cases day-to-day without a lot of close supervision, be licensed to practice in California, and have excellent academic credentials.

 

Duties:

  • Handle complex business litigation matters.
  • Assist with white collar criminal and investigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Manage cases day-to-day with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Assist in trial preparation and participate in trials as needed.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.
  • Stay current on developments in litigation and white collar law.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • Strong complex business litigation experience.
  • Interest in white collar criminal and investigation matters.
  • Extremely strong writing skills.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
