Duties

• Manage mass tort defense cases from initial investigation through resolution
• Draft and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, and memoranda
• Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, experts, and fact witnesses
• Develop case strategies and collaborate with litigation teams
• Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Coordinate discovery, including document review and analysis
• Evaluate claims and provide strategic legal guidance

Requirements

• 8 years of experience in mass torts defense litigation
• Strong background managing complex, multi-party litigation
• Proven ability to conduct depositions and appear in court
• Excellent legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
• Ability to analyze large volumes of information and develop strategic defense plans

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Mississippi Bar
• Admission to relevant federal courts (if applicable)
