Location:

Duties:

• Handle a variety of insurance defense cases, including coverage disputes, bad faith claims, and liability issues.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Manage and organize cases from inception to resolution, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures.
• Conduct legal research and maintain current knowledge of insurance laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and legal strategies.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on insurance matters.

Requirements:

• Experience in insurance defense or insurance-related litigation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong organizational and case management skills.
• Experience in court appearances, depositions, and legal negotiations.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.

Education & Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the South Carolina Bar or eligibility to obtain membership.

Certifications:

• South Carolina Bar Admission (Required).
