Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm based in Houston, TX, is seeking a seasoned Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic and litigation background, exceptional writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage a caseload from inception to resolution. The role involves active collaboration with other attorneys and partners, regular court appearances and depositions, and leading client communications.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload independently, overseeing cases from initiation to resolution.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and partners on various legal projects.
• Regularly appear in court and conduct depositions as required.
• Take the lead in client communications, providing meaningful updates on case progress.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience.
• Insurance defense experience is a plus.
• Strong academic and litigation background preferred.
• Exceptional writing and advocacy skills are desired.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Texas.

Skills:
