Job Overview:

A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of litigation experience to join its legal team in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves handling complex personal injury cases, including toxic torts and traditional negligence claims. The successful candidate will manage cases from investigation through trial, contribute to motions practice, and act as second chair at trial. Location:

Duties:

  • Conduct case investigations, legal research, and case analysis

  • Handle discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests

  • Participate as second chair in trials

  • Collaborate with clients, experts, and witnesses

  • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations

  • Provide legal counsel and maintain strong client relationships

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in litigation, specifically in personal injury or toxic tort cases

  • Strong legal writing and research skills

  • Effective oral advocacy and trial skills

  • Ability to manage complex caseloads independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to travel for court appearances, depositions, and client meetings

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active admission to the Pennsylvania Bar and New Jersey Bar

  • Admission to the New York Bar is a plus
