Job Overview:
A nationally recognized labor and employment law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join its Denver, Colorado office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to handle a wide range of employment-related disputes, including litigation, administrative proceedings, and client counseling. Location:

  • Denver, CO

Duties:

  • Defend employers in employment-related lawsuits and agency charges involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and other labor issues

  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings

  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to employers on workplace legal compliance

  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda

  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and client meetings

  • Collaborate with partners and team members on complex litigation strategies

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to federal and state employment laws

Requirements:

  • 2–8 years of experience in employment litigation or related commercial litigation

  • Experience with federal and state agency procedures (e.g., EEOC, DOL, CCRD)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills

  • Commitment to high-quality legal work, teamwork, and client service

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the Colorado Bar (required)

Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of employment and labor law concepts

  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to build strong client relationships and work collaboratively across offices

  • Experience with depositions, court appearances, and alternative dispute resolution is a plus
