Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Junior To Mid-Level Transactional Tax Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess 2-4 years of experience and a strong academic background. They should have transactional tax experience dealing with fund formation, Section 892 investors, real estate, income tax treaties, and cross-border transactions. Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as (a) working at a computer for extended periods of time, including on-screen reading and typing; (b) participating in digital/virtual conference calls; (c) participating in meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • J.D. degree.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in MA.

Education & Certifications:

  • J.D. degree.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in MA.
