A law firm located in Hallandale Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to negotiate and litigate cases effectively.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
  • Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Draft correspondence and maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits and witness lists.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.
  • Utilize proficiency in legal research using tools such as Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pay close attention to detail and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Work independently as well as part of a team to achieve case objectives.
  • Preferred knowledge of the personal injury litigation process.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a personal injury attorney or defense attorney in a related field.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation and litigation abilities.
  • A detail-oriented and organized approach to work.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar.
