Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Labor Negotiator Attorney to join their team in California, with opportunities in Sacramento, Walnut Creek, Los Angeles, San Diego, Fresno, Monterey, and San Luis Obispo. The attorney will represent and advise public school districts in collective bargaining, labor negotiations, administrative hearings, and arbitrations, handling complex labor and employment issues.

Duties

• Represent public school districts in collective bargaining and labor negotiations.
• Advise clients on labor and employment issues.
• Participate in administrative hearings and arbitrations.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to public agency clients.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience, preferably in education law or public agency law.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for advocating for educational institutions and public agencies.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
