A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Attorney with experience in Charleston, South Carolina to join its growing practice. The role requires the ability to manage tasks in a high-volume environment and provide exceptional customer service.

Duties

  • Oversee and manage high-volume statewide foreclosure matters.
  • Ensure timely actions to expedite files.
  • Act as a liaison with clients, vendors, and other personnel.
  • Manage files according to foreclosure rules and timelines.
  • Utilize the case management system for reports.
  • Review and execute pleadings and correspondence.
  • Maintain updates in client and firm systems.
  • Prepare and present legal documents.
  • Argue cases at hearings, conferences, and trials.
  • Attend public auctions as needed.
  • Review title searches for issues and proper parties.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, real estate, or related litigation.
  • Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and relevant laws is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with strong task management skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
