A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Attorney with experience in Charleston, South Carolina to join its growing practice. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in foreclosures, evictions, and title proceedings, or a strong desire to learn these areas. The role requires the ability to manage tasks in a high-volume environment and provide exceptional customer service.

Duties

• Oversee and manage high-volume statewide foreclosure matters.
• Ensure timely actions to expedite files.
• Act as a liaison with clients, vendors, and other personnel.
• Manage files according to foreclosure rules and timelines.
• Utilize the case management system for reports.
• Review and execute pleadings and correspondence.
• Maintain updates in client and firm systems.
• Prepare and present legal documents.
• Argue cases at hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Attend public auctions as needed.
• Review title searches for issues and proper parties.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, real estate, or related litigation.
• Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and relevant laws is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Detail-oriented with strong task management skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
