Duties

• Anticipate, prepare for, and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration on behalf of clients.
• Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on local, state, and federal levels.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys in conflict resolution techniques.
• Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of family law experience in Georgia.
• Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations.
• 5 years of experience as a senior associate in the legal field.
• Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration.
• Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle a heavy caseload with minimal supervision.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.
