A law firm seeks a Leasing Attorney for their Boston, MA office. This role involves extensive experience representing landlords and tenants in all commercial real estate leasing aspects, including office, industrial, life sciences, and retail leasing. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

  • Represent both landlords and tenants in commercial real estate leasing matters.
  • Work on various aspects of leasing transactions, including negotiation, drafting, and review of lease agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide comprehensive legal advice and solutions.
  • It may involve occasional involvement in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, zoning, construction, and/or development matters.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in commercial real estate leasing transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate lease agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding leasing matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to leasing and real estate law.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to ensure effective representation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing real estate law, focusing on commercial leasing.
  • Strong understanding of commercial leasing principles and practices.
  • Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent client service.
  • Experience in real estate acquisitions, dispositions, zoning, construction, and/or development is a plus.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
