Job Overview: A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a Professional Liability Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of legal experience. The ideal candidate will be keenly interested in various Professional Liability areas, including attorney malpractice, broker errors and omissions, and architect and engineer errors and omissions. The successful candidate should possess strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on issues related to Professional Liability cases.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Assist in the preparation and management of litigation cases.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders professionally.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on Professional Liability matters.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
  • 2-5 years of legal experience, preferably in Professional Liability.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
