Job Overview

A law firm is seeking a dedicated Estate Planning Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, probate, or real estate matters. This position requires bilingual fluency in English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse client base. The role offers a hybrid work schedule, with at least two days per week in the Los Angeles office and occasional travel to Orange County and Phoenix, AZ.

Duties

  • Prepare estate plans, including revocable living trusts, wills, and powers of attorney.
  • Provide direct legal services and consultations to clients.
  • Represent clients in hearings and other legal proceedings.
  • Conduct outreach and client meetings in multiple locations.
  • Communicate effectively with monolingual Spanish-speaking clients.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-5 years handling estate planning, trust administration, probate, or real estate matters.
  • Language Skills: Strong oral and written fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Bar Admission: Active admission to the California or Arizona Bar at the time of application.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to Orange County and Phoenix, AZ, as required.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the California or Arizona Bar.
