Senior Estate and Trust Attorney

Rockville office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an estate and trust attorney with 7+ years of estate planning and probate experience. The candidate will work as part of a team on estate planning and probate matters. Work will have a heavy focus on probate and trust administration. Draft estate planning documents. Administer probate estates in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and/or Virginia. Prepare and review fiduciary accountings. Prepare and review estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax returns. Prepare and review settlement agreements. Oversee the daily workflow of administrative staff. Delegate tasks to administrative staff in an effective manner. Should have demonstrated experience working with complex, high-net-worth clients, as well as estates and trusts. A solid background in estate and trust administration is required. Must have Bar admission in MD. Bar admission in D.C. or VA would be a plus.

The candidate should preferably have excellent research and writing skills with knowledge of estate, trust, and individual taxation. Must demonstrate high standards of professional excellence, a commitment to outstanding client satisfaction, the ability to work well with others, and a strong work ethic.
