A law firm in Worcester is actively seeking a Real Estate Partner-Level Attorney with over 10 years of focused experience in complex real estate and land use transactions. The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in acquisitions, financing, development, and leasing across various real estate sectors. This role requires a proven ability to guide clients through regulatory challenges, construction issues, and tax considerations. The candidate should have a portable business of at least $300,000 and a demonstrated ability to develop new businesses. Multiple State Bar admissions are a plus.

 

Job Details:

  • Extensive experience in the acquisition, financing, development, and leasing of diverse real estate assets, including office parks, shopping centers, industrial complexes, affordable housing, assisted living facilities, facilities of higher education, and residential developments.
  • Guide real estate owners, developers, and investors through regulatory, financing, construction, and tax considerations.
  • Represent buyers, sellers, owners, tenants, lenders, and borrowers in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Review, analyze, negotiate, and draft a wide range of real estate contracts and related documentation, including leases, purchase and sale agreements, construction contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Manage and provide strategic legal advice for the resolution of construction, rent and occupancy audit, maintenance, and other landlord/tenant and real estate-related disputes.
  • Conceptualize and articulate pragmatic/creative legal and business solutions to complex challenges.
  • Provide oversight and training to associates and paralegals.
  • Develop business with new and existing clients, demonstrating the ability to generate/originate new matters.
  • Create an overall business development/marketing strategy to grow and expand one's practice and client base.
  • Collaborate with peers to develop innovative ways to enhance the Real Estate Law team’s efficiency.
  • Analyze, address, and provide legal advice to a cross-functional team of lawyers in all practice areas.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Multiple State Bar admissions are a plus.
  • Portable business of $300,000+.
