A Santa Monica-based law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Litigation Attorney to manage and represent clients in removal defense cases and federal court matters. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring occasional in-person appearances in the greater Los Angeles area. Duties:

• Advocate for clients in removal proceedings and federal court actions

• Prepare and file legal documents, including briefs, motions, and petitions

• Conduct in-depth legal research and formulate effective case strategies

• Maintain responsibility for a diverse caseload of immigration litigation matters

• Collaborate with legal team members, including senior attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff

• Monitor and interpret changes in immigration-related legislation and judicial decisions

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in California

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration litigation, including removal defense

• Prior involvement in federal court proceedings strongly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to handle complex immigration cases independently

• Excellent time management and organizational capabilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to the California State Bar
