A law firm seeks an experienced Estate Planning and Probate Attorney in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to develop customized estate planning strategies and manage a variety of probate matters. Duties

• Conduct client consultations to assess estate planning needs.
• Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills and trusts.
• Assist with trust administration and probate proceedings.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Handle all aspects of probate and estate administration.
• Prepare and file necessary probate court documents.
• Represent personal representatives, executors, trustees, and beneficiaries.
• Guide clients through probate processes with professionalism.
• Manage court appearances and communications with legal personnel.
• Collaborate with colleagues on related legal matters.
• Identify and resolve estate and fiduciary tax issues.
• Stay informed of changes in relevant laws.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in estate planning and/or probate law.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong knowledge of estate planning tools and probate administration.
• Exceptional drafting, research, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail.
• Active bar membership in South Dakota.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in South Dakota.
