Job Overview
A nationally recognized law firm focused on creditors’ rights and litigation is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its Milwaukee, WI office. This position involves litigation across Wisconsin and includes opportunities to handle debt collection, tort, and subrogation matters. Location

Duties

  • Manage litigation files through all stages of legal proceedings

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other documents

  • Represent clients in court and make appearances for hearings, trials, and related matters

  • Evaluate enforcement options and post-judgment remedies

  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel effectively and professionally

  • May handle tort/subrogation cases and loan/credit card collection matters depending on experience

  • Maintain accurate records and manage a dynamic caseload

Requirements

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Wisconsin (on or before start date)

  • Strong organizational and communication skills required

  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines across multiple cases

  • Experience in litigation or collections is preferred, but not required

  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented candidates encouraged to apply

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Wisconsin (Required)
