Attorney needed for Alexandria office

A law firm in Alexandria is seeking an Attorney with a focus on personal injury law. The Attorney will provide legal advice, representation, and manage cases from inception through trial. They will communicate with clients, adjusters, medical professionals, and opposing counsel to efficiently resolve cases. Additionally, they will oversee personnel and assist with training while upholding ethical standards on behalf of the firm and its clients.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice, guidance, and representation to clients
• Manage cases from inception through trial
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, medical professionals, opposing counsel, and the Court
• Investigate claims and gather evidence
• Document injuries, expenses, and review medical records
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Negotiate settlements
• Strategically advocate for clients
• Manage personnel, including training, coaching, hiring, and discipline
• Assist with personnel training
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited law school with a Juris Doctor degree
• Licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana Bar
• Proficiency in case management software
• Understanding of medical treatment
• Ability to maintain professionalism and act ethically
• Ability to collaborate with all levels of firm personnel
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Advanced computer skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide and receive information professionally

Education and Experience:

3+ years of personal injury experience
